About Runamuk Cider Co

Founded in 2017, Runamuk Cider Co is a family-run business nestled in Capel, in the heart of Western Australia’s stunning Southwest. How was the Runamuk name decided? It was taken from our beloved boat, Runamuk, which—much like our cider—has been the source of many great adventures.

So, why did we start making cider?

Great question!

It all began when co-owner Paul was diagnosed with celiac disease, forcing him to say goodbye to beer. Faced with very few decent alternatives, he did what any determined (and slightly thirsty) person would do—he started making his own. After months of many trials (and a fair amount of taste-testing), he created something truly special. And just like that, Runamuk Cider Co was born.

We Don’t Do Average

We believe every apple has potential, from the perfectly shaped to the delightfully wonky. We give them all the love they deserve… before joyfully juicing them into cider bliss.

So, rest assured—no apples were harmed in the making of our cider. They just got a little… pressed along the way.
